BCP turns heat on BPP

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) will raise its displeasure regarding the manner in which the Botswana People’s Party (BPP) aired its concerns against the former’s affiliation to the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC).

The BCP president, Dumelang Saleshando said the media was not an appropriate forum for the BPP to air its reservations regarding his party’s affiliation to the UDC. 

“We have a UDC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on the 12th of August. At the meeting, we intend to air our displeasure regarding statements which are said to have been made by some of the BPP leaders against us,” a concerned Saleshando said yesterday.
