Boko slams AG�s Parliament show

The Leader of Opposition (LoO), Duma Boko was apparently enraged by the presence of acting Attorney General (AG), Morulaganyi Chamme and his juniors in Parliament yesterday morning during minister Shaw Kgathi’s presentation on Court of Appeal (CoA) Amendment Bill, 2017.

Also in attendance, according to sources, was the High Court Registrar, Michael Motlhabi and his juniors. Seemingly, Boko said: "AG is party to the litigation, and why is he here? It is abnormal for AG to be here when he is a litigant.

He is here on a matter that is before Court. Who is AG representing? He appeals and comes here to plead with Parliament to normalise things. The appeal has been noted by AG not withstanding, not being granted leave to appeal".
