Lover fatally stabs veterinary officer in her office

PALAPYE: The police are investigating a case in which a man allegedly stabbed his lover, a 27-year-old veterinary officer, to death on Monday night at Lecheng veterinary offices.

Palapye police station commander, superintendent Waboraro Ramaja said the police rushed to the scene on Tuesday and found the deceased lifeless. “We found the deceased lying in a pool of blood at the veterinary offices where she was employed.  We then rushed her to the clinic where she was certified dead by the medical doctors.

We suspect that she was stabbed with a sharp object,” said Ramaja. He said they have detained a 30-year-old man, who is said to have been the deceased’s lover, in connection with the matter.
