Relocation of BHC Minestone tenants looms

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Housing Corporation’s (BHC) plans to demolish its Minestone houses is on and is awaiting approval of land from the Department of Lands to relocate the tenants.

For years BHC’ s efforts to relocate them hit a snag with tenants pleading for the corporation’s intervention to find a place to move them to as they have stayed in the houses for a long time.

The 50 houses are some of the oldest BHC houses here and they has been outgrown by the times hence the need for the area to be redeveloped.
