FRANCISTOWN: One of the four men who allegedly killed a Francistown Senior Secondary School (FSSS) student last year is on the run. The revelation came when the three accused appeared before Magistrate Kaveri Kapeko recently.

The four accused, Thabo Machola, Misani Machola and Leabua Lekorwe (who are students at the University of Botswana and Ba Isago University respectively) and Mbiganyi Macha allegedly killed Tsholofelo Madziba - a then FSSS student who was allegedly stabbed with a sharp object on June 16 at Block 3.

The state also alleges that the quartet robbed Madziba P449 before proceeding to rob Ookeditse Nlanda a mobile phone worth P500 after they killed Madziba on that fateful day. Nlanda was released from Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital (NRH) a few days after she was admitted in a critical condition after the accused allegedly hit her with a hammer on the head.
