Mobile charger aid turns rape victim

FRANCISTOWN: An illegal immigrant from Zimbabwe appeared in court yesterday for allegedly raping the daughter of his neighbour after he went to their place to ask to charge his mobile phone.

The accused rapist Ashley Ncube, 38, allegedly raped his neighbour’s 16-year-old daughter when he found her alone at her place at Block 7 last week.

Police say Ncube raped his neighbour’s daughter under the pretext that he was asking to charge his cellphone, but allegedly turned into a monster after discovering that the child was alone at home.
