Following a good season that saw them finish in the top eight, Miscellaneous yesterday received P125,000 from Botswana Life. The amount will specifically go towards the players’ salaries.

Speaking at a ceremony to hand over the cheque, the insurance giants’ head of financial institutions, Joseph Kuaho said they have been supporting Miscellaneous as technical sponsors but have since decided to shift their objective.

“We are more than happy to alter the objective to meet the more urgent need of the football club this time which was to ensure that the welfare of players was taken care of,” he said.
