Police investigate slaughter of a horse

This was the tragic end of a ridden horse that was pinned three times with a knife while its rider was on top of it; first strike on the neck, then on the shoulder and finally on the ribs.

That was enough to finish its life for its failure to listen to instructions given by the rider. The horse was found in the wee hours of the morning last weekend with its rider by its side, drunk and confused.

According to eyewitnesses, the man, who appeared mentally unstable, was apprehended by passers-by who later called the police.
