Murder accused used fake name

LOBATSE: It has since emerged that one of the accused persons in the murder trial of a Zimbabwean man allegedly murdered for ritual purposes has been using a fake name.

The revelation came yesterday in court in a case in which Mmathethe village chief, Daniel Mathiba’s two sons, together with other two men are suspected to have murdered a Zimbabwean man, John Ngwenya.

The prosecutor in the case, Sub Inspector Serame of Goodhope police station, said they have since learnt that the accused person, Gindra Stegline’s names were not real.
