The Minister of Transport and Communications, Tshenolo Mabeo, has said that the scheduled return of the passenger train in March this year is on track. Mabeo said that they have procured a ‘classy’ train in line with modern times.

Speaking during his tour of the Gaborone train station this week, Mabeo said bringing back the passenger train will mitigate congestion along the A1 road. The project will cost approximately P280 million.
