Who will be VP?

After all 41 Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Members of Parliament (MPs), reportedly endorsed President Ian Khama’s choices for Speaker and Deputy Speaker yesterday morning, it is expected that today they will do the same for his preferred Vice President.

It is possible that Khama will create a dynasty by appointing his younger brother, Tshekedi Khama as the Vice President.

Another contender to the second highest post is Nonofo Molefhi who is the Minister of Infrastructure, Science and Technology. Even before the elections, Molefhi and the younger Khama were tipped for the second most powerful position in the land.
