Mascom, sponsor of the Premier League’s Top 8 knockout competition has refuted reports that the Zebras players were turned away from the covered stand at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Monday night as they were wearing competitor, Orange branded t-shirts.

But Mascom has blamed the incident on confusion from security personnel manning the gates.

“I understand the security details asked them to wait (before being admitted) as they sought clarity from Premier League (officials).
