Woman fined for possession of dagga

JWANENG: A 44-year-old woman Of Thankane village, Pearl Mabesi, found herself on the wrong side of the law when she was arraigned before Jwaneng Magistrate Court with her co-accused Tsotsi Lenkopane, 61, for illegal possession of dagga.

It is alleged on March 27, 2014 at Majakane ward in Thankane the duo were found in unlawful possession of dagga.

Acting on a tip off that the two were selling the illegal drug, police raided their house and indeed found the dagga.
