Remarks by Masisi on the occasion of German unity day

I am delighted, Your Excellency, that I am able to join you , the staff of the German Embassy and the People of Germany around the world this evening to celebrate with you this auspicious occasion- marking the Unification of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Democratic Republic of Germany to create one single Federal Germany in 1990.

To this end, allow me to extend our sincere congratulations on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Botswana, and indeed on my own behalf through you to the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Germany on this historic day in the political calendar of your great country.
