Butler�s frustrations cannot be ignored

Zebras’ coach, Peter Butler arrived from England untested at national level. He had club jobs in Europe and Asia but the Zebras job was his first at national level.

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) had taken a gamble in appointing the Briton.Scepticism blew across, largely triggered by memories of another Briton, Colywn Rowe’s brief stint in charge of the Zebras. However, Butler has managed to grind results even under challenging circumstances.

He has not shied away from expressing his views particularly on social media, even if it means stepping on his employer’s toes.
