Teachers attain athletics coaching certificates

MASUNGA: At least 50 teachers from Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA) North Zone attained level one athletics coaching and officiating certificate after attending a course conducted by the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA).

Coach and International Amateur Athletics Association (IAAF) course instructor Mogomotsi Otsetswe conducted the course.

Addressing attendants at the five-day course, which was held at Masunga Stadium last week, Otsetswe said although the country is doing relatively well in track events, it is with the field events where there are still challenges.
