The brother to the departed political leader Gomolemo Motswaledi says he survived many road mishaps that looked certain to claim his life before he perished two weeks ago on his way from South Africa.

Gape Motswaledi, speaking at the funeral of his brother revealed that  Gomolemo was an overly worked man who depended on Red Bull energy drinks to keep him alert on the roads, although he continued to experience one mishap after another.

Speaking in Setswana Gape said in a message that was also broadcast live by Gabz FM, “Amogelang gore nako yaga Gomolemo ene e setse e tsile. (Let us accept that his time to go had arrived. Gomolemo has had many serious road acccidents that were life threatening….but because it was not yet his time to go, God protected him, if you do not accept this fact, and you can’t thank God for having saved him on numerous ocassions, then you do not have a reason to doubt what happened to him”.
