Government came to the rescue of the Botswana Football Association (BFA) on Monday when it released funds to fly the national team to Guinea Bissau for the second leg of the preliminary rounds of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Zebras meet Guinea Bissau on Saturday with a 2-0 lead from the first leg.

With the P5 million annual grant from Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) already exhausted, BFA had to look elsewhere to salvage the trip which was in danger of being cancelled.
