Unionist cries foul as salary is frozen

Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) deputy secretary general, Ketlhalefile Motshegwa, has reportedly gone without his salary for two months, in what the unionists claim is a case of victimisation.

Motshegwa works for the Francistown City Council (FCC).

In a statement yesterday, the Federation said it believed the salary cessation was due to an exchange of letters between the FCC and the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
