Rape victim testifies in Masilo trial

Thabo Masilo’s trial for rape and robbery restarted at the Village Magistrates Court yesterday, following a six-month break caused by the illness of a court interpreter.

The victim is expected to give evidence and be cross-examined behind closed doors in order to protect her privacy.

Members of the public will only be allowed in court when she has finished her testimony.
