School term disrupts Youth Games training

The manager of Botswana’s Africa Youth Games athletics team, Moses Raphutse has said their training schedule has been disrupted by the re-opening of schools.

Raphutshe said most of the athletes are students who have gone back to school after the start of the second term.

The students are now being trained by teachers. Raphutshe said this is not good enough because in most cases, the teachers are not trained coaches.
