Police XI coach Sthando Mogwadi will face disciplinary hearing this week

Police XI coach, Sthando Mogwadi and his assistant, Maitlamelo Letlaamoreng will face the Botswana Premier League disciplinary committee this Wednesday after their hearing was adjourned last Thursday.

The two officials are facing one count of misconduct in relation to incidents that occurred during their match with Mochudi Centre Chiefs last month. The matter was adjourned to this week in light of the fact that one of the accused persons was absent on compassionate grounds at last Thursday’s hearing. However, their suspension from all Botswana Football association (BFA) was lifted and the two sat on the bench when Police XI lost 2-0 to Township Rollers on Saturday.

Meanwhile Motlakase Power Dynamos official, Monty Gagomokgwa was found guilty on single count of misconduct and was fined P1,000 payable within 30 days. Failure to do so will see him being suspended from all the association activities for a period of 12 months. Gagomokgwa was charged with misconduct in relation to incidents that took place during his side’s match against Rollers at Palapye Swallows Grounds last month. Rollers won the match 1-0 after being awarded a penalty in the dying minutes of the game.
