State withdraws all charges against Modenga

Former Francistown deputy mayor, Lechedzani Modenga will now have a breather after the prosecution withdrew charges he was facing before the Broadhurst Magistrate Court.

Modenga has over the past years been in and out of the accused dock.

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillor for Moselewapula ward in Francistown faced several counts of obtaining by false pretences.
