Suspected druglord appears for 62kg of dagga

FRANCISTOWN: An alleged drug lord appeared in court on Tuesday to face one count of unlawful possession of dagga. The state alleges that Wazha Nthoiwa and another person not before court were found in possession of dagga weighing 62.03kg at Minestone location on May 13, 2014.

Sergeant Chashingwa Ndadi, who was standing on behalf of the substantive prosecutor in the matter, told the court that the purpose of the mention was for a case management conference.

Ndadi said it was not possible to conduct the case management conference because the substantive prosecutor in the matter was attending a course at the Otse Police College.
