Man denied bail in molesting case

LOBATSE: Lobatse magistrate Amos Tumelo yesterday denied a 23-year-old man bail in a case where he faces a single charge of raping a minor.

Bokamoso Kono is alleged to have, on Friday October 2, had sexual intercourse with an 11-year old girl without her consent in Lobatse.

Appearing for the state was Inspector Bakanoki Tsayang of Woodhall police. Bakanoki said the investigations were still at an initial stage, therefore asked the court to remand the accused person in custody.
