Hunda resigns from Gunners

The coach joined Gunners this season, replacing Fewdays Musonda, who once complained about lack of quality players. Before going to Gunners, Hunda was at Uniao Flamengo Santos where he had a relatively good time with the youthful side. Hunda was in his third stint as Gunners' coach.

Yesterday, he refused to confirm nor deny whether he has resigned. It is said that Hunda was forced out by frustrations after management declined to sign the players he wanted. 'He made some recommendations but the management has decided to sign their own players. He wanted a goalkeeper, midfielders and seasoned strikers but the management did things their own way,' said a source. Gunners' need for seasoned strikers was clear on Saturday night when they were beaten 2-1 by rookies Boteti Young Fighters at UB Stadium.

Meanwhile Dlamini confirmed that they have acquired the services of former Nico United midfielder, Monametsi 'Sunday' Kelebale. Kelebale had been in a scintillating form for Selebi- Phikwe side before picking up an injury that has kept him out for the better part of last season. The injury ruined his chances of cementing a place at the national team.
Dlamini told Mmegi Sport that negotiations with two ECCO City Greens' players, striker Bonolo Fraser and midfielder Abednico Powell are at an advanced stage. For years, Gunners have not spent much during the transfer window and preferred to stick to young players.

Dlamini revealed that they are keen to lure back Tshepo 'Talk Talk' Motlhabankwe who is now at log leaders, Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
However, he said that they are still consulting about regulations about the transfer of players twice in a season.
