Mugabe loves his people

The question that usually comes to my mind whenever I see such words aimed at Mugabe is what has this man done to deserve such treatments.

If there is a leader who loves his people in Africa it is Mugabe and I will try to explain why I am saying this. Firstly Mugabe risked his life for the liberation of his own people when he and his comrades challenged the colonial government. Even though it risked his life he ignored it and pressed forward with the liberation of his people. Secondly in the year 2000 Mugabe's government decided to confisticate land from white farmers to give to the landless Zimbabweans. I have to point out that this was done in good faith for the good of everyone concerned. I also hasten to point that those white farmers got that land during the colonial rule and as such they owned almost all the fertile land. It was very difficult for an ordinary Zimbabwean to own land then and so there was a need for land reallocation. The land reforms where also part of the agreements made at the Lancaster Conference in 1979.

What followed after that confistication of land shocked me because western countries then decided to impose sanctions on Zimbabwe. The question is why? The answer to that question is very easy. It is because most people affected by the land redistribution program were from those countries. Those sanctions did affect the economy of Zimbabwe very much but are we suppose to blame Mr Mugabe for doing what he had to do as a president who cares about the welfare of his own people?

Another indication that shows that Mugabe loves his people is the fact that Zimbabwe has the highest citizen economic empowerment in Africa. The fact that he gives his people first priority shows that he cares about his people. He was very much criticized for announcing that all foreign companies operating in Zimbabwe must be atleast 51% owned by the citizens. This is a welcome development and all Africans ought to be happy that finally they have a messiah to save them from the aftermath of colonialism.

All the things I mentioned above explain the reason why Mugabe has been winning elections year after year despite all the reports by the western media that Mugabe is rigging votes. Mugabe is not rigging votes as his critics are saying. All this allegations are just malicious propaganda sponsored by western countries intended at annihilating the big man. I know that we have been manipulated by the western media about the situation in Zimbabwe but we need not take heed of their reports because they (western media) a re good at exaggerating things especially when it comes to Africa. Let all Africans rally behind Zimbabwe in this trying time.

Finally I will say viva comrade Mugabe viva!!!. Long live comrade MUGABE.
