In Gaborone South, all the sitting councillors including 1984 veteran Ezekiel Dube, and colleagues, Lemme Kgafela and Obakeng Motseosi lost the party primaries to newcomers. Says a veteran campaigner, 'this looks like the beginning of a silent revolution against the reactionary leadership of the organisation.' primaries at Gaborone west South were deferred on account of the vacancy at Marulamantsi ward.
