GNT Hold Notwane

Notwane got the first chance in the 16th minute but Tebogo Sembowa hit the upright. His effort from the rebound was blocked by a defender and was cleared away. GNT made an early substitution when they took out Masauso Robson for Motlhokomedi Mombala.

The move seemed to pay dividends as the minnows took control of the midfield. GNT should have taken the lead towards the end of the first half with the best chance of the first half but Keabetswe Batunda failed to beat Notwane goalkeeper.
In the second half,Notwane introduced Pako Moloi for Tebogo Sembowa and the youngster added life to Toronto attack.

Defender Mpoeleng Mpoeleng unleashed a powerful shot late in the second half which GNT goalkeeper, Lorato Keamogetswe failed to handle, but fortunately his defence cleared the danger.

GNT assistant coach, Edward Leposo said that although they came for victory, the result was a fair one. He pointed out that since they are still new in the elite league, they are trying to build a competitive team. He hopes that by January, they will reinforce the squad. After seven games, GNT have five points while Notwane have eight.
