BFA unaware of Mwampules injury

Masule was included in a squad to face Zimbabwe in a friendly on Independence Day despite carrying an injury, which will sideline him for weeks.
“We are not aware of the injury and we can only make changes to the team once we have received a doctor’s report with regard to the injury,” BFA technical director, Benny Kgomela said yesterday.
By yesterday at press time, Kgomela had said they are yet to receive anything from Rollers regarding the player’s injury. However, Rollers spokesperson, Bafana Pheto said the player is injured and it is a matter of officially informing the association on the matter. Masule missed Rollers’ weekend match against Notwane as well as yesterday encounter against Sankoyo Bush Bucks.
Two other goalkeepers, Wagarre Dikago of Extension Gunners and Gaborone United’s Neo Kenalemang are part of the national team.
The players are expected to report for camp tomorrow. Zebras’ coach, Peter Butler has called only locally based players for the friendly match.
BMC striker, Kenanao Kgetholetsile has found his way back into the national team, thanks to his sterling performance at Ezinkomo. Kgetholetsile, who spent last season at Rollers, seems to have regained his confidence and form with BMC currently enjoying a bright start to the season.
Flo, as his supporters affectionately call him, was last called up to the Zebras before his move to Rollers last season. His move did not yield expected results as the player found himself on the sidelines for the better part of the season. His arrival at Rollers meant that he had to compete with Namibian striker, Jerome Louis for the starting berth. Together with midfielder, Lovemore Murirwa, they decided to seek for first time football at different teams.
Kgetholetsile scored twice a fortnight ago when BMC routed BDF XI 4-0. He forms part of a three men strike force in the Zebras squad for the Zimbabwe friendly match. The other two strikers are Jerome Ramatlhakwana and Mokgathi Mokgathi of BDF XI. Ramatlhakwana is inactive, as Rollers have engaged FIFA to green light his loan move from DRC’s Don Bosco. Other players making their return to the team are Nico United’s duo, Khumoetsile Kufigwa and Onkabetse Mankgatai.
Lebogang Ditsele has also been given a second chance. He made his debut in the national team while still playing for Jwaneng Comets last season. He has now moved to Letlapeng on loan from Rollers. Zimbabwe is expected to arrive on Sunday.
