Even though the night was very cold the Jackson fans did not want to miss out on their stars' beautiful performances at the full-to-capacity Millennium Jazz joint. Despite the weather many fans could be spotted looking fabulous in their bright summer wears.
The Jacksons displayed a breathtaking performance when they did Eugene's song Mamela. The father and son who surely have beautiful voices left some of the audience puzzled, watching them with admiration as they dished their magic on stage. Eugene also played some of his popular songs Phantsha and Tobetsa.
Eugene also performed his fans favourite, Ke Wa Gago, featuring Helen. As per previous performances, this song got the biggest response from the revellers, as the night crawlers participated in a few dance circles where everyone wanted to show off their dancing moves.
Clement's solo performance kicked off with the song Lesiela, a jazz number with an authoritative instrumentation, combining an assortment of African drums, marimba, a trivialising flute and controlling bass guitar. He also treated his fans with songs like Amaqhawe, Borotho, Dondobeleja and Kgogora. Another joy for the night was the appearance of afro pop queen Maxy Sedumedi who brilliantly performed some of the late Brenda Fassie's songs.
Maxy's beautiful voice, which sounds more similar to Brenda's voice, had clearly taken some of the audience back in the days as they danced and sung in approval and joy. Some of the songs she dished out to the audience were; Am Not A Criminal, Vulendlela and the most loved Weekend Special. Also going by the sobreket, MmaGauta, Maxy serenated fans with some of her gospel songs.
