Gunners and the local sports apparel manufacturer last October announced a landmark P1.2 million sponsorship deal over a period of two years.
Upon the launch in Lobatse, All Kasi only revealed kits branded with the team's 50th anniversary logo, but now that the anniversary celebrations ended in December, new kits were released yesterday. The new kits keep the team's traditional black-and-white colours.
The home kit is dominantly white with black patches, while the away kit is black with some patches of white. Supporters' replica jerseys went on sale yesterday at P350 each.
Speaking during the launch at the BFA's Lekidi Centre, All Kasi managing director, Ludo Kemoeng said they want to continue setting new trends in the country's sporting fraternity.
He said they designed one of the best kits that was used by the Zebras at the 2012 AFCON finals in Gabon-Equatorial Guinea, and expressed confidence that the new Gunners kit is even better in terms of design.
'We are going for the best possible qualities in or designs, I hope the Gunners family will like their new kit,' he said.
He said their Gunners sponsorship is a pilot project as they experiment on a new business model, and if successful after two years, they have plans to roll it out to other clubs and other sporting codes.
He said they have already set trends as they give Gunners a P20, 000 grant as part of the agreement. He added that they want to create a business environment whereby Gunners will be able to attract even more sponsors in the future, as the team currently does not have a major sponsor.
After losing out on a new sponsorship deal with the BFA last year, All Kasi unveiled several kit designs for other sport codes among them volleyball, boxing, softball and tennis.
For his part, acting Gunners chairperson, Mosimanegape Seitshiro said they are very happy with their ties with All Kasi. All Kasi marketing director, Barnes Maplanka expressed the same sentiment saying so far everything is going smoothly in their partnership.
He urged Gunners supporters to help nurture the partnership by buying the team's replica jerseys.Meanwhile, the club also used yesterday's launch to reveal their new signings from the past transfer window. Coach Odirile Matlhaku said he is still to appoint an assistant following the departure of Nelson Olebile towards the end of last year.
