Why I didn't kiss Tatiana

Motlhabani explained that upon his return to Botswana after his stint in the Big Brother house, many people asked him why he refused to canoodle with Angolan housemate Tatiana Durao.   He said the question was repeated by many people and it stuck to his mind until he eventually wrote the book. The title was therefore influenced by the questions. Motlhabani said he  asked Tatiana if he could use her name for the cover which she agreed to.

He added that although he used Tatiana's name in the book title, it is not entirely about her, as the 180 page paperback also discusses other housemates, and details his experience in the house.  Motlhabani gave a peak into to the book, noting that it starts from the auditions stage until he was eventually selected to represent Botswana at the Big Brother house. It progresses into details about how the inside of the house operates from the kisses, fights, and partying and mind games.

He added that he narrates his experiences until he was evicted from the house, as well as his life after Big brother. 'I still receive calls from people who want to go to the Big Brother house. They often ask me how they can make it as housemates,' he said.

Motlhabani further said the book is aimed at potential Big Brother housemates, as they can get an idea of what to expect once the house doors are shut behind them.  He noted that the book will be of interest to anyone who wants to know how the show is run.

Why I Didn't Kiss Tatiana, which retails at P200, is available at all major bookstores. Motlhabani added that he intends to broaden the scope by availing the book to a larger audience through selling the it at retail stores too. Tatiana will jet into the country next month on a date to be confirmed, for the book launch.
