Botswana trio set for Don Bosco debut

The three recently moved to DRC's FC Don Bosco, but are yet to feature for the club in a competitive match. They watched from the sidelines as their team beat DC Motema Pemba in a league match last Tuesday. The result saw them remain in sixth place just nine games into the season. They have won four, drew twice and lost three of their matches. The three were to watch their side play Virunga FC in another league match last night.National team coach Stanley Tshosane said Ramatlhakwana, who is expected in the country after his weekend match, expressed his excitement ahead of his first appearance.

'JJ says their papers should be in order this week and they are likely to play their first game this weekend; if selected. He is quite excited about the way things are turning out and sounded keen to play his first match,' Tshosane told Mmegi Sport. He added that they were communicating with the DRC club to release Ramatlhakwana for Zebras' training camp, which starts on Sunday. 'JJ will definitely be there, we start our camp on Sunday,' he said.Chiefs' communications manager, Clifford Mogomotsi also confirmed the players' papers were likely to be ready this week.'We are hopeful that their papers will be fine this week after which they will be able to play for their new club,' said Mogomotsi. The Congolese side, whose president is Moise Katumbi's youthful son, Champion, appears an ambitious outfit with a concerted hunt for foreign players as they also prepare for a challenge in this year's DRC Linafoot, which traditionally kicks off in March.

Meanwhile, Tshosane is delighted that his South Africa-based players will join camp on Sunday ahead of the Egypt international friendly on June 4.The curtain came down on the ABSA Premiership League on Sunday and that means Wits University midfielder Ofentse Nato, Platinum Stars duo of Kabelo Dambe and Mogakolodi Ngele will be expected to join camp on Sunday.SuperSport United's midfielder Mogogi Gabonamong is likely to join the camp later as his club is playing Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedback Cup final on Saturday. The Zebras mentor said they were scheduled to leave for Cairo on June 2.The match is in preparation for next month's 2014 World Cup qualifiers. The match will be played just three days before they host Ethiopia in Lobatse. They play Ethiopia on June 8 before hosting Cape Verde the following weekend. Both games will be played at the New Lobatse Stadium.
