Team of the season

Noah Maposa (Gaborone United)In a season that no single goalkeeper raised his hand among others, Noah Maposa did relatively well although he faced competition from Mompoloki Sephekolo and Michael Pepukani. His team might have missed out on the league title but Maposa did not only make crucial saves but also demonstrated great leadership skills.
Simisane Mathumo (Township Rollers)Township Rollers might have had a bad season considering their status however, few of their players maintained their remarkable displays. Mathumo, at right back, has been one of those players who, despite their team finishing the season at position eight, has been rock solid at the back. He faced stiff competition though from BMC's Tshepo Maikano and Chiefs' Tshepo Motlhabankwe. Motlhabankwe has in most games played at left back for his team after Mpoeleng Mpoeleng's departure in January.
Mooketsi Otlantshekela (BDF XI)An underrated but solid defender, Otlantshekela also is very good at delivering crosses. He has improved tremendously this season and managed to contain some of the quickest and skilful wingers in the league. He has flourished under both Letang Kgengwenyane and Nelson Rasetshwane and should soon be knocking on the doors of the national team.
Moshe Gaolaolwe (BMC)Another underrated defender, who has proved beyond reasonable doubt why Zebras' coach, Stanley Tshosane, has been calling him for camps. He is a good reader of the game and looks quite comfortable on the ball even when under pressure.
Richard Legwaila (Nico United)In the absence of experienced teammate, Monametsi Kelebale, Legwaila has led by example at the heart of Nico United defence. He rarely puts his foot wrong. Like Gaolaolwe, Legwaila has been called to several camps by Tshosane because of his consistent displays for his side.
Elvis Meleka (Chiefs)He is the favourite to walk away with the Player of the Season award following his performance at the heart of Chiefs' midfield. He gives Chiefs the much-needed balance in the midfield although his marking sometimes is suspect.
Topo Piet (Nico United)Another favourite to win the coveted Player of the Season award! Piet has been a marvel to watch this season, with almost all Nico United attacks being built around him.
Alphonse Modisaotsile (Gaborone United)Unlike other players who normally struggle to exert themselves after moving from the North to join bigger teams in the South, Modisaotsile has been an exception. Since joining GU last season, he has been a key member. His continued to prove that he is one of the nest defensive midfielders in the league this season.
Kekaetswe Moloi (Chiefs)Some soccer pundits attributed Mara's goals last season to Mogorosi's assists but he proved once again that he is a natural goal-getter. He is almost guaranteed to finish as the top goal scorer once again.
Tendai Nyumasi (ECCO)A very skilful player who is also a quick thinker! Despite failing to make a move to South Africa's Mpumalanga Black Aces at the beginning of the season, Nyumasi never looked down. His combination with Patrick Lenyeletse has been one of the most exciting in the league.
Galabgwe Moyana (Chiefs)Moyana remains one of the best ball crossers in the league. He might not have the speed to operate on the flanks, like Joel Mogorosi or Phenyo Mongala, but he has the skill to do as much.
