Student is surprise orange P1m draw winner

The e-recharge competition that started last April was open to all prepaid users, with many walking away with different prizes including cash, airtime and the ultimate winner strolling home an instant millionaire. Rammeke, who hails from Serowe, told The Monitor that she was still undecided on what to do with the money as she was still reeling from shock but promised to seek a way forward through consultation with her mother. Orange Botswana, being one of the leading networks, have been involved in many corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects that uplift many Batswana communities and on going competitions that are meant to give each Batswana a chance of winning prizes, including cars and houses. Marketing Executive Gosego Mokubung said with the competition they wanted to promote the e-recharge service to Orange customers but above all to reward them for their effort and loyalty.

Mokubung explained that since the start of the competition 11 people have won themselves P20,000.  She encouraged other Orange users who wish to one day also walk away a millionaire to continue using the service as the competition is ongoing and that another P1 million is on offer.

 The competition allows one to e-recharge from P2 and above to be eligible for the P1 million draw and many other prizes.
