Two die in bus accident

According to the Station Commander of Dibete Police Station, Superintendent Phineas Makwaiba, the preliminary investigations revealed that the accident occurred when the driver of the truck tried to overtake. 

He and the passenger died on the spot, whilst the driver of the bus sustained serious injuries.The bus is said to have been heading north from the southern direction while the truck was heading the opposite direction.

According to Makwaiba they have not received serious accidents involving buses or public transport since 2011, as  the accidents reported were minor ones. He said high speeding on the A1 highway is the major cause of accidents on that road.
