Young mother walks away with GTI

Malebogo Ellen Thipe could hardly believe that she had really won the car valued at P400,000.The young woman, who was accompanied by family and friends, was resolute in choosing the winning box even though the audience, who came to witness the raffle tried to sway her decision. After many minutes of confusion,Thipe decided to stick to her initial decision and was overjoyed when she realised her instincts  had been right.

Thipe's children  appeared shocked for a while as they digested what they had just witnessed. She herself was speechless as the Master of Ceremony (MC) Joel Keitumele asked  how she felt. She finally said that as a believer she always knew and believed that with God's grace she would walk away with such an expensive beautiful car. Still in a state of shock she could not stop expressing her gratitude to 'The Almighty' as she said that if it were not for him she would not have won the car.

In an interview with Showtime, Thipe revealed that she has owned many cars before, so she has has decided to sell the GTI in order to fulfil some of her dreams. ' I am going to sell this car as there are a lot of things that I have always wanted in life. I am going to build myself a dream house and further my studies with the money I get from selling this car' .

She said that even though she has lost count of how many SMSes she sent, she always had faith that she would one day be the winner of such an expensive car. ' I thank Orange for giving me such a chance to win this GTI and with the money I shall get after selling it, I should be able to fulfil my dreams,' she said. She said that she would keep on entering Orange competitions, as the GTI is a testimony of their service to the community.

Earlier on before the GTI draw, four more Orange winners walked away with cash prizes on the weekly draw.Martin Ndebele and Segopolo Seloilwe won P6,000 while Ontlametse Ditshipa and   Lucy George went home P9,000 richer. Although none of the four won the maximum prize of P15,000 as they had hoped they said they were happy, that they did not go home empty-handed.Orange Botswana assured their customers that there are still two more Golf GTIs up for grabs and cash prizes to be won and that they should keep trying their luck for the June draw.
