Satmos look to utilise away goal against Comets

The two sides drew 1-1 in Jwaneng last Saturday.Tomorrow will be the last chance for the two sides to book a berth in the elite league after missing out on the automatic promotion.Comets failed to get an automatic promotion after finishing second to Wonder Sporting in the First Division South.Satmos on the other hand finished behind Orapa United in the First Division North League. Satmos go into the match with a slight advantage of an away goal and hope that they do not concede at home. Comets on the other hand would hope that they get a goal and ease up the pressure.

Coach Kelebogile Seyamokwena is adamant that his side can come to the party away from home. 'It is only that we knew little about them last week when we played them in the first leg. We now know what to do to beat them. We have been trying to correct the mistakes we made in the first leg,' he told Mmegi Sport yesterday. He revealed that in the first match, Satmos took the game to them and had to tell his players to up the pace so that they match them. 'They are a good side but I do not think they are as tough as the teams we play here in the South,' Seyamokwena said.

Comets will be pinning their hopes on former national Under-23 midfielder, Bobo Motlhalane. The stocky but exciting player played the first leg with a knock but is expected to be fitter this time around. 'We have been working on him. He still carries a knock, but it will not stop him from taking part in this match,' Seyamokwena.Comets will also be boosted by the return of their top scorer, Benjamin Maule who missed the first leg. Maule was on suspension because of the accumulation of yellow cards. 'We also expect to have Elvis Seyamokwena who also missed the first match because of work commitments,' he said. Comets leave for Selebi-Phikwe today.

Satmos head coach China Mading said games of this magnitude are usually tough. He said despite having managed a draw away, the pressure would be on them as they have to deal with trying not to concede. While Comets will be relying on the experience of Motlhalane, Satmos will bank on Mosimanegape 'Twizzer' Ramohibidu and Mpoeleng 'Stopper' Ramohibidu.

The duo joined Satmos at the beginning of the year from BMC and Mochudi Centre Chiefs respectively. Mading said their experience has been key in that they have eased the workload on the coaches. The former Zebras goalkeeper also pointed out that Comets are equally a good side and added that they will in any way underestimate them. 'They were the better team in the first half last week but we took control in the second half and got an equaliser,' he said. The winner will join Orapa United and Wonder Sporting in the elite league.
