Serowe Battle of the DJs back for the third time

Gaepongwe said it is encouraging the government has started recognising DJs since a slot was created for them during the annual President Day competitions.'DJs should start to take themselves seriously and know that they can easily earn a living out that. We are only going to engage serious DJs in our competition so we are going to make sure that we screen all potential entrants before the grand finale,' he said. He said they are going to be discreet in the screening.

Gaepongwe encouraged Batswana to support the event by attending promotional shows which will be used to showcase the finalists. He urged residents of Serowe and surrounding areas to attend the grand finale at Lady Khama Centre on Independence Day.The main judge at the event will be the celebrated DJ Fondofire. DJs King, Lewinsky and Swaps are expected to perform at the competition.The Battle of the DJs has become one of the highlights in the entertainment calendar of Serowe. It gives DJs in the Central District the platform to showcase their skills.
