Thirsty Malotwana gets borehole

 

The minister told the residents to use the water for their livestock and to irrigate their gardens. He appealed to the residents to start small businesses and backyard gardens, which he said can be used to earn a living. The councillor for Mosanta South, Justice Paledi appealed to residents to stop the dependency syndrome and come up with business ideas and make use of the borehole.

He said water from the borehole is not specifically for livestock and encouraged villages to also grow vegetables and fruits for sale.  Recently the Kgatleng District Council (KDC) chair, Tona Mooketsi appealed to the youth to visit council officials with business ideas and initiatives. Mooketsi said this would assist in eradicating poverty.However, the youth complained that they submit applications with business ideas but never get feedback.Mooketsi said he would communicate this to his staff.
