The ever smiling first year Marketing student could not hide her excitement upon being announced the winner.

She told ShowTime that even though she was not sure that she answered the questions right, the feedback that she got from the crowd convinced her otherwise; 'I am so happy I don't even know what to say, this is a dream come true for me and am glad my mother was here to witness it,' said the 19-year-old.

When the ladies first appeared on stage, they were wearing a combination of black short pants and vests while others were wearing white tops and shorts, and their dance moves thrilled the crowd. They then changed to casual wear, and in their final appearance, they came on stage in gowns with unique designs and styles. Her first and second runner up's gave Gaborone some stiff competition. The first princess, Kelly Charles who is a first year student studying business administration and management was by far the crowd's favourite and the second princess Precious Lesole had the audience eating out of her hand.

The young lady who seemed unhappy upon hearing that she was second princess told ShowTime that she was disappointed as she expected more but because it's a competition, she has accepted her defeat and is happy with it. 'At least I got a spot on top three and it is better than nothing,' said the 21-year-old beauty.

Both runner ups won blackberry phoneS, P500 voucher at Topline and a night and lunch at Masa while Gaborone walked away with a laptop, P2000 topline voucher and a night and lunch at Masa. But of course the night would not have been fun without the local artists who gave the crowd some thrilling performances, the event had artists like Eugene Jackson who blessed the night with songs from his latest album welcomed by the audience.

The crowd were already demanding for ATI to appear on stage before he was even announced, he did not disappoint as usual sang his famously loved songs. Dj Crispin who is popular  for his drums also gave an outstanding performance, other artist were Mosako, Romeo, PK Maada, Enigma, France Ba Mreppa, M.O.I, Dj Benny and T Dj Tboss

The host for the night was none other than Thobo Kerekang best known as Ruxion from the group Magosi, the young man did a great job in entertaining the audience and was a hit among ladies.
