Baitsile, who is also popularly known as DJ Sid, was dismissed from the station last year.
It was a hostile atmosphere as Jamali, who appeared for about 20 minutes, told the court that he does not know DJ Sid.
He claimed that he never hired him. He added that he was surprised to see himself in court.
He said that he does not have any information about the case DJ Sid is referring to.
DJ Sid reminded Jamali that he has been serving him with papers since last year.
He added that he has been to Jamali's office several times, including after he (DJ Sid) was mistreated by a consultant at the station, Robin Chivazwe.
DJ Sid also revealed that he was hired by Jamali himself.
However Jamali said it was all lies, claiming that he does not run the radio station. He said that he has a manager there who looks after the business on his behalf.
DJ Sid's short tenure at the station ended last year after he claimed that Chivazwe harassed him along the A1 road one morning.
He then reported the harassment to the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (SSKIA) police but the case is yet to sit.
Since then, DJ Sid has refused to report to work, claiming that he was unsafe. He further complained that management had not done anything to protect him.
The station manager, Alfred Busang maintained in previous interviews that DJ Sid simply absconded from work.
When the case resumes on April 3, Duma fm will put their witnesses - Busang and Chivazwe on the stand.
DJ Sid has also indicated that he will subpoena Jamali's younger brother, M. Jamali, whom he said also knows a lot about the case.
Meanwhile there is talk that this case might also see the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairman and Member of Parliament for Molepolole South, Daniel Kwelagobe also appearing in court as a witness.
Kwelagobe is one of the founders of Duma fm along with Patrick Masimolole and Jamali.
Industrial Court Judge Virgil Vergee presided over the case.
