Fans Demand Culture Spears Wedding DVD

Since Culture Spears lead singers Kabelo Mogwe and Madeline Lesolebe tied the knot late last year, the group has been inundated with phone calls from fans who want to know when the wedding DVD will be available on the market.

Culture Spears' front man Mogwe on Saturday conceded that the high demand for the product is forcing them to rethink their strategy.

'Initially we did not foresee the demand for the DVD, perhaps because we simply thought that our wedding was a private affair, but the fans are every day proving us wrong; they definitely feel it was their wedding,' he said.

According to Mogwe, the couple's wedding in Lerala, the bride's home, and Matshumu, the bridegroom's place, attracted 6,000 and 12,000 people respectively.

'It was the largest crowd I had ever seen at a wedding. Up to now people at home in Matshumo are still battling to clean up the yard as a result of the wedding - the litter was just too much.'

'The requests for the wedding DVD have come as a surprise, because it is one area that no one has ever explored, but we will do it for the fans; they want it', he said, but would not immediately say when the DVD would be on the shelves.
