Last wa Bofelo releases second hot mixtape

Famous Rap artist A.T.I hosts LWB's new mixtape.  The mixtape has 12 tracks excluding A.T.I's skit. 'In his skit A.T.I introduces songs and tells the audience the message contained in each track,' LWB explained.

He said that in his album Touch Motswako, Ja MonaTe (JMT) studio, Hussledorf Recordz and Batho Bame Music Company featured him. LWB's Passion Killa album talks about how passion killings have affected so many families and the Botswana society as a whole.  LWB said that he wants to host a campaign across the country this year to raise awareness about passion killing among his peers, as they are the most affected by the scourge.

The mixtape has tracks like Maada, Metlha, Kgakala, Lepara, Cold World, Only One, Passion Killa, Sex Machine, and I Love Haters. LWB said that even though the mixtape is not out yet, he has already given his fans a sample of it through Facebook.

'My fans have warmly received my album because I have given it my all. I don't worry about making numerous albums but giving my audience the best,' he said. LWB said that he wants to be the leader in the industry, which is why he takes time to produce his music. He said that he likes songs that raise awareness among the people on different aspects of life.

He said that his music also talks about his experience in his musical career, belief and spiritual systems.  'I want to paint a picture about my life and things I have seen to my fans,' he added.He said that he would like to release his album in 2014 after he has attracted a good following. LWB said that his love for music started at a tender age, imitating many rap artists while still at primary school.

'I got exposed to the industry in 2009 at Hip-hop Indaba show at Maruapula, now known as Zoom Club that was hosted by Mimi The Fabulous who is currently a presenter at Yarona fm.  Realising that I have talent I later released my first mixtape in 2010,' the lad said. He said that his first mixtape is Matagwa United and has 14 tracks. LWB said that the mixtape gave him exposure and fame.  He said that he used the mixtape to raise awareness against alcohol abuse.

'I wanted to teach the young people about the impact of alcohol and drug abuse on individuals and communities,' he added. The young man said that he would continue spreading the message to the youth through his music because music is a powerful communication tool.
