Another robbery suspect nabbed

Botswana Police public relations officer, Christopher Mbulawa, confirmed the arrest but could not go into details on the arrest of the 23-year old suspect.

'We are still investigating and publicising where the culprit was arrested could alert the other suspects we are still looking for,' Mbulawa said. 

He said they have not yet recovered the rest of  the  money following the robbery. The arrest brings to two the number of arrested suspects in the robbery following Tuesday's arrest of a 28-year-old Mogoditshane man in connection with the theft.

The police have since recovered over P165,000 cash and over P110,000 in cheques. They allege that the thieves used explosives to blast open the safe where the money was kept. The arrested suspects will appear in court soon.
