Gaborone lovers of stylish looks have not been left behind in the Mohawk bandwagon too. The hairstyle has become a hit among college students, the extrovert young women and young men are often spotted in this style.
It comes in all shapes and sizes; some prefer the crocodile version while some go for the bowl cut hairstyle. The most popular Mohawk style among some holly-wood and music celebrities is the version with spike effects along the top of the head. Usually the spikes are dyed into different striking colours. Achieving this casual elegance can be a laborious process. Those choosing to go with the Mohawk look will find it does require more than average amounts of maintenance. The sides of the head must be kept cropped or clean shaven, which requires constant touch ups. The spikes themselves must be worked into the look on a daily basis, unless strong styling products are used to achieve the look. Even then, sleeping will muck the look, so daily attention is required. If you get a Mohawk and you plan to keep it, one first has to know that it is a high maintenance hairstyle. However other versions of the Mohawk style like faux hawk or a half-inch wide Mohawk that do not require one to keep any hair in the back can be less stressful.
