Security Systems eye promotion to First Division

After four games, the Gaborone side tops the nine-team promotion play-offs with 10 points with Molapong Green Birds in hot pursuit with nine points.  Third on the log is Modipane United with seven points from nine games. The Kgatleng side had a good run in this year's Coca-Cola Cup, beating both Mahalapye Hotspurs and Police XI before bowing out to eventual losing finalists, Motlakase Power Dynamos. The team is led by former Mochudi Centre Chiefs' forward, Molatlhegi 'Teenage' Podile and veteran ex-Naughty Boys' striker, Thabani Ngwenya.

Kgabosetso Southern Callies which was relegated from the First Division at the end of last season has another chance to reclaim their spot. They are equal on points with Modipane United and so is another former First Division team, Ghanzi Terrors. Despite its rich history, Desert Nxau from Tshabong is stuck at the bottom of the play-offs' log with no point.

Although football is a game of surprises, it would be certainly another season in regional football for the club, which produced stars like Master Cozeer in the 1980s. Second from the bottom is Lehututu Golden Arrows with a point from four games while seventh-placed Motaung FC has won one game, proving that the Kgalagadi teams would have little say on who gets promoted.
