Slizer's son drops sizzling album

The talented boy has dropped a sizzling six-track album titled Amacommander.  The album is already on the shelves and Slizer (Naledi Kaisara) is confident it will be a hit.

The youngster features his dance queen mum and hip-hop star Juju Boy.  The late Sisqo B also helped compose some of the songs before his death last year.  'He featured me (in the album) and I'm the one who's been showing him the way.  He's very good and I've previously performed with him.  It looks like my presence means a lot to him,' Slizer told Showbiz.

Some of the tracks in the album include the title track, Asakoia and Kwasa Hip-Kwasa Hop, which features Juju Boy.  Slizer reckons her darling boy is bossy, hence the Amacommander title.  She is upbeat that the album will do extremely well in the market.

'I believe the album will do well in the industry, especially the DVD because his dancers are young and amazingly vibrant.  Most of them are still at primary school,' she said. The youngster, Bibo, acknowledges that his mum is an inspiration to him.  He also fancies Vee, Mlesho, Mingo and Franco.  The Standard Three student urged Batswana to buy his music.

'I want people to buy my album because I've done it very well with the help of my mum.  It's a good album.  I love music a lot - I love singing and dancing,' said the boy. His gifted mum noticed his fondness for music when she was rehearsing for one of her previous albums.  She says the lad would always be next to her and was of great help when she was composing her songs.

However, Slizer says she does not want her little boy to feel compelled to be a musician because of her. 'I feel it's the right time to record him, but as he grows up he'll be able to make choices as to what he wants to do with his life.  It seems he wants to sing so I've had to do that for him, but this does not mean I'll keep him in the music business forever.  He'll make his own career decisions later on in life,' she said.

Meanwhile, Slizer is currently in the studio working on her next album. 'I intend to take my time.  I want to give my fans a fresh taste of music.  I have learnt from my mistakes and I'm trying to grow big in my music,' she said.
