Chiefs struck five times in the first half before completing the rout with another four goals in the second half to register the weekend's heaviest victory, 9-0.
Chiefs were clearly not going to undermine their opponents and looked determined to get an early lead. In the 12th minute, Joel Mogorosi, who started probing as early as the first minute of the match, received good service from Galagwe Moyana from the left and easily pushed the ball past Swallows' goalkeeper, Lone Raseboko, to open the scoring.
The hosts did not seem bothered after conceding the first goal as they exhibited courage to go at their superior opponents. However, the inexperienced side exposed themselves at the back in their attempts to get a goal and were heavily punished.
Sageby Sandaka dribbled past three defenders on the left and linked well with Moyana who was lurking in the middle to set up Moemedi Moatlhaping for Chiefs' second goal in the 19th minute. Sandaka benefitted from a James Kachinga cross from the right-flank just two minutes after Chiefs' second and scored the third goal for Magosi as the giants got into cruising mode.
As Magosi's dominance went unchallenged, Joel Mogorosi headed in to complete a brace in the 34th minute to make it 4-0 for Chiefs. A minute later, Sandaka headed in another one to make it 5-0 as Swallows continued to lose steam.
From the break, Chiefs continued with their free-flowing style and Swallows simply lacked ideas to deal with their opponents. Defender Tshepo Motlhabankwe, perhaps motivated by the opponents' sluggish defending and poor goalkeeping, attempted a long range shot which easily beat the inexperienced goalkeeper for Chiefs' 6th goal just two minutes after the re-start.
But it was clear the goal feast was no where near the end and when substitute Mara Moloi combined with Moatlhaping in the 68th minute, it was obvious Swallows would concede another one and the Zebras' striker made sure and changed the score line to 7-0.
Sandaka sneaked in 10 minutes later to push the scoreline to 8-0 before defender Calvin Masire was brought down inside the box and referee Kutlwano Leso pointed to the penalty spot from which Moatlhaping scored to seal victory.
